Phil Zuckerman
Dr. Phil Zuckerman (born June 26, 1969) is a professor of sociology at Pitzer College of Claremont, California. His specialty is the sociology of secularism.
He is the author of Lina gets a mango.
He has been a guest professor, at the University of Aarhus, Denmark for several years in the case of educating “Secularization in Scandinavia“. He is the author of several books, including Society Without God (2008) for which he won Foreword Magazine›s silver book of the year award, and Faith No More (2011).

Negative thinking can dent children’s confidence and lead to bouts of pessimism and inactivity if they’re left unchecked. Negative thinking is the source of stress and it can make human loose control. This can lead to mental processes that prevent people from achieving what they should.
Positive thinking is the opposite of this. It helps people to solve difficult tasks and to put a difficult situation into perspective. Furthermore, it makes the child capable of performing well and enjoying solving tasks.
Rational thinking helps to put aside the negative thoughts. Rational thinking is when the negative thoughts are challenged. Phil Zuckerman shows children through his new children's book how they can overcome negative thoughts by using their rational thoughts and challenging themselves. We instinctively contain a number of irrational prejudices, and the children must see for themselves whether there are substance in these or not.
